First Strike: Classic App Reviews

I agree with pretty much everyone else who has given this game a three star or lower. It is a great game, but you should make it so we can save our game. Plus, like most others have said, the crashes if you change apps for even a second and it crashes pretty frequently even if you dont. Note: Now I cant even open the game,chic his why my review is now a 1 star instead of 3.

Great game,good graphics and fun to play.Add some more different ways to nuke,like nuclear submarines.Also dont add in-app purchases!

This game is fun, but the latest update is loading about 60% properly, and then stops updating and this keeps happening, even after I deleted and downloaded the game again

After the update the game crashes at the start screen can hardly play, a fix would make me give the game a higher rating.

Please fix crashing problems that came with recent 1.3 update. Has been great game up to that point

This used to be my favorite game until the update. I can no longer get past the load screen before the app crashes. Please fix this and add a save feature for gameplay

I just got the game and when ever I go on it crashes immediately

Overall great game had tons of fun playing the only thing I found disappointing was the fact that there are no ground forces its literally just a nuclear holocaust which at first Is very engaging but as you get better and better you can win easily with countries such as North Korea if they update this include submarines or other ways to launch nukes would be a lot more competitive

This game is so great and the way its going to a great way to go but I think you should be able to pick what countries you play against and when you pick to weapon to be able to research cant you let us use both just my opinion thanks keep up the great work also add saving and when you pick 2 special weapons you can only research 1 to use why cant we use both

This is a good app and I play it all the time, there are many things you need to fix before it becomes one of the greats. A few suggestions I had were: •Fix the very problematic crashes that happen very frequently •Allow the player to leave the app mid-game so they are not required to finish in one sitting •Add a saving mechanism so we dont lose all our hard work (over an hour sometimes) due to the crashing •A graphic quality control (which may help with the crashing) •A more difficult starting AI difficulty •Allow us to play on hardcore mode with less than 8 enemies •Allow the player to choose their enemies •Allow the player and enemies to use both superweapons • Add more superweapons •Different subcategories of Cruise missiles, IRBMs, and ICBMs (differentiating the range, damage, and effects) •Be able to control where your solar laser flies over •I just saw another review ask for nuclear submarines and that is a fantastic idea!!! •(Just a thought) Maybe include sending infantry or tanks to other countries to fight a ground war too With these small improvements, theres no doubt that this app will make the top charts.

Even after the update to fix the new features, I still cant even get to the main menu. All I want is this glorious game to be playable on my IPad 2, so that way I can continue to play and be amazed by this well made and well thought out game. But until then (and I hurts me to do this) minus one star.

This game was my favorite game, but now all it does is crash..... I cant even play a game without crashing. In the new update there needs to be bug fixes ASAP and more content. Otherwise the game is fine

That would be cool if they added navel warfare just a suggestion

Absolutely love this, really well made game. Just started playing again with the new update, hardcore mode is insane! Not sure if I like the new infiltrator super weapon or not but it definitely mixes things up and makes it more challenging. I never write reviews but I just wanted to say thanks to the developers I definitely got my moneys worth out of first strike! Ps- a multiplayer version of this would be AWESOME.

I had version 1.2 and was excited to see that there was a 1.3 update that one would assume would fix the numerous bugs and inability to save. Nope, turns out to just be the addition of some weapons or something. Feinheit, are you even reading these reviews? Is this really how you prioritized your time over the last year?

First Strike actually came to my interest after buying it, since it was $3.99. Very strategic like game and intense when needed. What I would like to see in the Future: -Future Updates in general to keep the game fresh -Future Online Multiplayer, even if you have 5 enemies, one, two, or whatever can play with or against. And if its not a full lobby per say, then use CPU Bots Wanted to keep it very simple, and hopefully this game can grow :). (I think it would grow more if it wasnt $3.99 and more like $1.99 once reputation grows?)

I have played many games off the App Store, yet non (except maybe Plague) come even close. With this game your money is well spent. Anyway I wanted to give some suggestions to the creator. 1. You need to be able to save your game. 2. You should have a mode to where we can play as one country, (the nations wont spilt up at all) and 3. You can play online multiplayer with or against your friends. TO THE CREATOR THANKS FOR MAKING THIS THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!

The update has glitches such as having multiple special forces, air defense dome staying active the entire game. Also, Ive beaten the game on hardcore with every country but it doesnt acknowledge my victories with Iran and China.

The games fun but I wish you could cut Antarctica into 3 parts like you guys did with Australia and I wish Hawaii was available to own, and you should make Canada and Mexico a country to play as.
